We hold all employers accountable for promoting equitable access to opportunities for all our students, including our Black, Indigenous, Students of Color, women, LGBTQ+ students, students with disabilities, and international students. We are committed to working with employers who support diversity, equity, and inclusion for all students. Connect with our campus career offices to share opportunities, recruit talent, schedule information sessions, get involved with campus, and host events. We will support any interested organization in reaching high standards to ensure the WSU students and graduates they hire feel a strong sense of inclusion, respect, and belonging.

Employer Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Pledge

Career Services invites our employer partners to sign our DEI pledge. By signing this pledge, you are committing that your company will stand against racism, racial bias, injustice, and inequality. Mock interview partner program

WSU Career Services partners with community employers for our Virtual Mock Interview Program. This partnership opportunity is a great way to engage WSU students and brand your organization on campus. The program runs from September - April each school year.

Employer volunteers must have:

  • Previous experience interviewing students, critiquing resumes, and providing feedback on both.
  • Availability to host a 1/2 or full-day mock interview schedule. Pick the days and schedules that work best for you.
  • A Zoom, Teams, or other meeting platform link to share with students.

Employer volunteer partners will have their logos added to the Mock Interview webpage as partners. If you want to join our 2023-2024 school year partners, please email dates that suit your schedule to susan.crowley@wayne.edu.

Questions can be emailed to Susan Crowley.
